The (“LCRA”) is a non-profit public utility providing wholesale power to over a million people in Texas. In December 2016, LCRA contracted ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ to construct 33.4 miles of 138kV transmission line from Lampasas to San Saba in central Texas.
The project was executed in consideration of a condensed LCRA schedule and habitat-specific environmental permitting requirements. The ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ scope included steel structures, poles, 22 drilled pier foundations, and a railroad and major highway crossing.
With assistance from fellow subsidiary company Ìý(ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ is also a Quanta Services subsidiary (PWR:NYSE)), the project was successfully delivered to LCRA in January 2018.
